Desert Safari - Half Day

Afternoon / Evening: Summer approximately 4:00pm to 9:30pm
Experience the mystique of the desert that has captivated travellers for
centuries with this late afternoon/evening safari. Your 4-wheel drive follows
the ancient tracks of caravans through mountains of gold dust, driving up and
down dunes for an hour before arriving at a traditional Bedouin camp.
After watching the Arabic sunset, a sumptuous barbecue dinner is prepared on
open flames under the constellations, while bread is baked in front of you. A
belly dancer sways on stage to the Arabian rhythms of the drums and the oud (a
kind of lute) while you sip on Arabic coffee or mint tea.
You may also choose to try out henna painting, hold a falcon, smoke some sheesha
(fragrant tobacco smoked in glass-bottomed hubble bubbles), take a ride on a
camel, and get your picture taken by a professional photographer.
Note: Alcoholic beverages available for a fee for non-Muslims.
