About the International Federation of Training and Development
Organizations (IFTDO)
IFTDO was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1972 in order to develop
and maintain a worldwide network committed to identify, develop and
transfer knowledge, skills and technology to enhance personal
growth, human performance, productivity and sustainable development
IFTDO is a diversified network of human resource management and
development organisations linking HR professionals in HR societies,
corporations, universities, consultancies, government organisations
and enterprises. Through its member organisations it represents more
than 500,000 professionals in 50 countries
IFTDO is a charity registered with the Charity Commission No. 326633
and a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales
No. 1829725. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (C) (3) organisation
in the United States. It has Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC
of the United Nations.
